March Madness has hit me. I have viewed more college basketball games in the last two days than I have my whole life - it is a really neat experience getting into it. I even filled out my first bracket this year, so far not too bad.
With the Madness has come time to get projects done. Last weekend I tackled my closet. Tonight I was able to get caught up in Brooklyn's scrapbook, cleaned my place, talked to my brother, balanced the check book, and did my dishes - a lot accomplished for one night! Tomorrow I plan to get an oil change, wash and vacuum my car, take my video camera in to get fixed (it turns on and the screen is black), get groceries, and going to 4:00 church (perhaps a walk afterwards). Then on Sunday I plan to web chat with the family, and go venture out as the weather is supposed to be nice. Mind you while I am doing all of these things I will still be catching a few ball games.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Education choice
So lately I have been thinking about school, Grad school to be exact. There is college about 25 miles from ESPN. Everyday I go back and forth on whether or not to go back. I have been done with college for almost 5 years now - Wow, where has the time gone? I loved learning, but it would be a big commitment going back while working full-time. It would be great to get my Masters - I think if you have the opportunity to further your education then you need to take the next step.
Weekend Wonders
This past weekend was nice and relaxing. Yesterday I slept in until 9:30am and started my day. I web chatted with the family for quite some time, which was very nice. I went to 4 o'clock church and decided after church to venture and see new areas of Bristol. About a mile from the church I came across a awesome park - Rockwell Park to be exact. Why haven't I found this sooner? The river runs right through it, happens to be the same river that I walk next to on Memorial Park. It's so quite at this park as the traffic doesn't go through it. I can't wait to go back again.
Today I slept in well past 9:30 - in fact I didn't get up until Noon! I did toss and turn and looked at the ceiling sometime before getting up and get a start on the day. I found some energy and tore my bedroom closet apart looking for my spring clothes. About 4 hours later, the closet is back together and laundry is done. It was quite the project. Spring cleaning is in the air and it's time to clean out things that I don't need anymore.
Not sure what's on the agenda for this week - hopefully a few walks and early bed time.

A River Runs Through It
I had some self reflection time this weekend as the weather was sitting at a beautiful 60 degrees. I went for a 2 ½ mile walk both yesterday and today down Memorial Drive here in Bristol. On one side of the road is two ponds - in the summertime the ponds have a water fountain in the middle of them. On the other side of the road is the river. It was really nice to listen to the water current run along side me as I was listening to the sound track from King Kong. I know, it sounds a little weird, but to be honest James Newton Howard is a great composer. Tonight I am sitting on my patio watching the rain ever so lightly drop from above me. It’s a little bit cooler out, but still nice to get fresh air after being inside all winter.
Spring is almost here!

End of Vacation Blues
Yes, it's been a week since I returned home from vacation - and where have I been? I don't even know the answer to that question. Perhaps I was tired and worn out from vacation that I needed a few days off. Well it's time to get back in to the swing of things again. After waking up at 11 this morning, yes, 11 I know, I decided it's time to get some energy and the only way to do that is go for a walk outside. Even though it was 30 degreees, I still managed to get bundled up and go outside. It was a nice walk as I called Grandma and my Great Uncle Roy.
Sometimes everyone needs a break from everything. I went a little over a week with out facebook, and I made through it. I hate to admit it, but I loved it! Sure I missed out on a few things, but to tell the truth, I might only check it now once in the morning and once at night. There are so many other things to do than be on facebook. My goal by the end of March is to finish re-reading the 5th Harry Potter book - then only 2 to go. I am hoping to finish re-reading then all before going to the movie - when does it come out? I will check later.
Well - it's nice to sort through more Disney photos - I took over 800 and now have to decide which ones to print out - this might take awhile.
I'm glad to be back in action again!!!

Disney Day 3, 4, & 5
So it's been a week since we returned home from Disney World. It was truly a wonderful trip. It's amazing what happens when you don't have Internet capabilities for a few days!
On Day 3 we journeyed to the Magic Kingdom - it was really cool as we got to count down with Mickey to the opening of the park that morning - I have never been there before it opened. It was nice as there were not a million people standing in front of the castle. We got some great photos in right away. Then we headed off to do rides. We did Peter Pan, not once, but twice - the Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, Swiss Family Tree, It's a Small World and a few other rides. It was a great day - After the time at MK then we went to Broad Walk - there they have a ESPN Zone. It was pretty cool to see as I work at ESPN out of Bristol. After that we walked to EPCOT where we had dinner and waited an hour for the firework show. To me, EPCOT still has the best firework show and music. I have been always fascinated at how they put the music to the fireworks. Perhaps it's something I can study someday.
Day 4 we ventured to do a little shopping at Down Town Disney early in the morning. It's nice to do it early as there were not as many people. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe before heading back to the hotel and then to EPCOT for the remainder of the day. The weather was a little bit warmer this day - so the sunscreen came out. Just to note, I didn't get burned at all on this trip. Probably, the first time to FL that I didn't get burned... EPCOT still amazes me with all the countries.
Day 5 we packed our bags and said goodbye to our lovely room - then we headed back to Hollywood Studio to finish a few rides that we didn't get in the first day we were there. We came back to the hotel at 1 where we ate a quick bite before heading to the airport - I couldn't believe it was already time to go home.
I can't wait to go back to Disney sometime soon!!!
